My macbook was having trouble choosing audio output when I changed headsets. It kept defaulting to Procaster Audio Redirector instead of the internal speakers or the new headphones.
Turns out LiveStream Procaster was responsible for this (fiends!*). To uninstall, do not drag the app to the trash. Instead, go to: Your hard drive > Library > Application Support > Livestream Producer.
This will open up the Script Editor. Press the play button. It will uninstall Procaster and restart your computer.
Check your sound settings; the offending Procaster Audio Redirector should be gone.

*Seriously, why can’t companies post uninstall instructions on their support pages? Does this improve customer retention?
